Who is responsible for your information?
[operator name to be added before launch] runs this website. When you request a quote, your details are passed to our advice partner, Curemed (Pty) Ltd (FSP 44098), which contacts you and gives the advice.
What do we collect?
- Your answers on the form: who needs cover, whether you have medical aid, the cover you want, your budget band and when to call.
- Your full name, mobile number and email address.
- Technical details: the page you came from, advertising click identifiers and campaign tags, your IP address and browser type.
- A record of your consent, with the wording version and time.
We do not ask for your ID number or for any health information.
Why do we collect it?
- So that an Advisor can phone you about the quote you asked for (your consent).
- To stop spam and fraudulent requests (legitimate interest).
- To measure which advertising works, including telling advertising platforms when a request leads to a policy, using scrambled (hashed) contact details where the platform supports it (legitimate interest; you can object).
Who receives it?
Curemed (Pty) Ltd, its customer relationship system and the service providers that host this website. Advertising platforms receive only identifiers and scrambled contact details, never your answers.
How long do we keep it?
To be confirmed by the Information Officer.
What are your rights?
You may ask what information we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent to be contacted, and object to processing. You may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
